Sowmya Children's hospital

          This 8 bedded unit admits critically ill children of various ages and conditions. The prompt management of these sick children has saved several lives. The illnesses include severe acute asthma, shock, intractable seizures, respiratory failure, drowning, head-injuries and many more.  Respiratory support is offered in the form of mechanical ventilation, CPAP and HHHFNC.
